  2. My day spent at the women's retreat "Pathways to...and Awakened Heart" was such a gift. I invited my sister and was blessed to spend the day with her and all of my old and new friends from Resurrection.
We did many activities, but the one that I look forward to seeing in completion is our Quilt squares that we created and will be on disply in the community. My quilt square was made of 8 hearts (to represent each woman at my table) and they encircle three crosses. My hope was to show that we will continue to strive to keep Christ at the center of our lives.

I feel blessed to have been a part of this wonderful retreat and look forward to maybe meeting again at a future retreat. The energy in the room by the end of the day was fantastic and it was great seeing connections being made with God and each other. I also loved looking at the quilt squares individually and look forward to seeing the quilt as it progresses...heart full of smiles today : )

  5. Thank you for a wonderful day. We had a great table of women to talk with and share our hearts. The music was extra special. Thank you Devotion and Kay.

  6. You might want to use your Awakened Heart Magnet from the retreat to save this website to check in, or add, your ‘awakened heart’ faith journey on the blog! Or use it for a HOW TO AWAKEN MY HEART list: Prayer, Scripture (remember the list in your keepsake binder), using a daily devotional, spiritual writing (journaling), a spiritual mentor (who can you talk to), solitude, take time to listen (maybe a prayer walk), class or Bible study, and the ever popular—retreat! What other suggestions might you make? Please forward this to your friends and family who attended and we’ll let you know when there is another update! Keep asking God to awaken your heart….God helps you get ready to receive! Blessings, kay
